Will it affect my credit?

Yes, you can cancel your policy at any time. You should check with your agent to make sure there aren’t any cancellation penalties. Premium’s will be pro-rated at the time of cancelation and you will be charged for ONLY the time you had your policy. Some truck insurance policies utilize an outside billing company. Cancellation will NOT affect your credit. You are, however, expected to pay all premiums that have accrued to your account up to the day you cancel your policy.

How to file a claim

Call the police if necessary. Document everything and exchange information. Contact your insurance agent. They will tell you who to report the claim to and what is needed to file. This is typically done online or by phone. After you file your claim, the insurance company may send an insurance adjuster to investigate the accident and the damage done. The adjuster will make recommendations for how much the insurance company should pay for the loss.
